Desperately, deathly, sick. It's not H1N1, though, nor strep throat, or even pneumonia. No, what I've contracted is lovesickness. The cause? A particularly virulent strain of Smartus Adorablus.

*sigh* He's not only very cute, he's smart. Although he's not quite as smart as me(Which is not bragging, I have an IQ of 141), he's still smart, and he works awfully hard too. But when he does make a mistake, it's still just so cute. Like yesterday, in Spanish class, we were working with whiteboards, and he wrote on his, "Yo soy mayor que yo," and showed it to the guy sitting next to him, and the teacher saw it, and said, "I think you mean, 'Yo soy mejor que yo,'", because "Yo soy mayor que yo" means, "I am older than you", while "Yo soy mejor que yo" means "I am better than you." I nearly died trying not to laugh.

Unfortunately, Spanish is the only class I share with him, and because mi profesora de espanol es una bruja, I have hardly any chance to talk to him. And I'd really like to be just plain friends with him before I start hitting on him(Because I am an independent modern woman, dammit, and I will hit on my crush first if I want to). *sigh*

And he's the sort of guy I want to be friends with anyway, even if he doesn't like me back. We don't even have the same lunch period though. Any advice for curing a lovesick heart?
